Smoking Facts - Part 11

Hi,

My name is Mark Tiger, creator of this blog, and of the "Smokers to Non-Smokers" program.  Find out more about the program:

I was totally addicted to tobacco products, mainly cigarettes; and spent 20 years desperately trying to stop smoking without succeeding.

Finally in 1999, I used a method that I had created for myself; and I managed to become a non-smoker.  I have never smoked again since.

In 2005, I decided to share the methods that I had used to successfully become a Non-Smoker, with Smokers who wanted to become Non-Smokers.

After helping over three hundred Smokers to become Non-Smokers, my success rate was a little over 99%.  From this experience I have improved the program, to assist those who are already non-smokers; to remain non-smokers for the rest of their lives.

Smoking Facts – Part 11

Nicotine Addiction (Continued)

Nicotine Addiction is in the mind
After three days of being a non-smoker, the blood levels for nicotine have reached such a low level, that it becomes a non issue in your body.  After 27 days, there is medically very little trace of Nicotine in your body.  The Addiction is in the mind.  We need to reprogram the mind, using the “Smokers to Non-Smokers” program.  You need to be able to live as a non-smoker for the rest of your life.  This program provides you with the tools and exercises to achieve the goal of becoming a Non-Smoker.  You need to decide that you are going to stop no-matter what, and stick to your choice no-matter what. Actually once you make that step it is easier.

Nicotine Addiction can feel like hunger pangs
Addiction can feel like hunger pangs, or a yearning in your throat.  You can not satisfy this hunger, this addiction with food or anything else, only a tobacco product.  You need to be able to recognize how the addiction feels.  It is very gentle and mild, but persists 24/7.  If you allow it to continue it will destroy your health eventually, no matter how healthy you are now.

Recognize that once you are addicted, the addiction will go all the way with you to your early deathbed and your grave.  The only way is to break the cycle of addiction, is to stop Cold-Turkey.  The “Smokers to Non-Smokers” program gives you the tools, and the exercises to achieve the goal.  Break the cycle of addiction, be free, have more energy, let everything in your life be just that little bit better.

A lifetime of Nicotine Addiction will cost the equivalent of an up-market house or Villa.
Ever wondered why cigarettes come in packets of 20's, 30's and 10's.  20's are for the average Nicotine Addict.  As the addiction takes a stronger hold, the Addict will move up to thirty a day - pack of 30's.  As the addiction gets even stronger the addict starts buying two packs of 20 a day.  Eventually two packs of 30 a day, or even three to four packs of 30 per day.
The pack of 10’s is for those nicotine addicts who are still developing their addiction.  They are still trying to get past the terrible taste of smoking.  The 10's are also for those people who can no longer physically cope with smoking more than a few cigarettes per day.  These people are the ones in the most pain. Tortured by the desire to smoke, yet only being able to smoke a few, and their body is ravished by the debilitating effects of smoking.

We can help anybody in any stage of Nicotine addiction.  You need to follow the program though, the “Smokers to Non-Smokers” program.  Amazingly that is all it takes.  You could say sadly that is all it takes.  If you have tried a number of ways to stop smoking, then it is time to see me and become a non-smoker. If you have not tried many ways to stop, believe me it is still the best to see me and stop the addiction, once and for all. Stop Nicotine addiction in its tracks.  Do it now!

Do you want a luxury Villa?
If I told you that in exchange for the cost of a few months worth of smoking equipment, I would give you a luxury Villa or up market house.  Would you swap me?  You probably would.  Well a few months worth of smoking expenses, would probably be the fee for the “Smokers to Non-smokers” program, and the cost of a luxury villa, is what you would spend on smoking equipment during a lifetime of smoking.

If you save the money, every month that you would have spent on smoking equipment.  After a lifetime of saving this money; you would have enough money to buy an up-market house for cash.  Do yourself a favor and work out, which house you would have been able to purchase for cash for yourself.  To be honest, even if the cost of the “smokers to Non-smokers” program, was ten times or more what it is, it would still be worth every cent.  What money value would you put on your health, or quality of life, or life itself?

Nicotine Addiction

After you had your first smoke or used some tobacco product, you became a Nicotine Addict.  Like most of us, myself included we did not believe that we were addicted because it tasted so bad.  Here you are now, unable to stop using tobacco products.

One cigarette, sometimes even one puff addicts you
Don't torture yourself and try to cut down.  You just think about smoking all day, and you still smoke.  This was my personal experience.  The only way is to smoke your last cigarette when you are ready, and then you are a non-smoker for the rest of your life.  No other way.  Believe me, substitutes do not work, they just keep the addiction going while you are not smoking cigarettes.

When you stop you need to understand that you will never smoke again, not even one.  As a result your life will be greatly enriched in all sorts of ways.  As a result you will remove the bondage of Nicotine addiction from your life.

Addiction defies all logic
I have seen people who have had a lung removed because of smoking, but still have good reasons why they should smoke.  Some people may have parts of their body removed because of smoking and yet just carry on.  They are simply unable to stop.

A good family friend of ours had one heart bypass operation after the other.  After each operation the doctors told him that if he did not stop smoking he would die.  He carried on smoking till he died.  He simply could not stop.  Like most of us have tried he did try, over and over again.  Unfortunately I had not yet put this program together back then, so I could not help him.  I had to stand back and watch him kill himself.  Don’t make me stand back and watch you kill yourself.

Smoking Takes Toll in Womb
Women who smoke during pregnancy, can cause permanent damage to their child's circulatory system, which can increase risks for heart disease and stroke later in life, Dutch researchers report.

Permanent Cardio Damage
His team's analysis of data from the Netherlands Atherosclerosis Risk in Young Adults study found that people exposed to smoke when their mothers were pregnant had permanent cardiovascular damage that could be detected in young adulthood.  The findings were expected to be presented Friday at the American Heart Association's Annual Conference on Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention in Orlando, Florida.

In addition, smoking during pregnancy can result in compromised intrauterine growth and low birth weight, Bots noted.  In the study, Bots and colleagues collected data on 732 people born between 1970 and 1973.

Smokers more likely to go deaf
Hearing loss may be yet another health problem caused by a lifetime of smoking.

A five-year study of 4 000 middle-age and older people found smokers almost twice (1.7 times) as likely to be going a little deaf.

Of those ages 60 to 69, 56.4 percent of the smokers suffered hearing loss, compared with 35.5 percent of non-smokers and 47.3 percent of ex-smokers, according to the University of Wisconsin.

Secret smoker numbers shock
A recent survey of 4 000 adults in England
According to BBC News, the survey was commissioned by Boots, a large British pharmacy chain, and it found that 52 percent of the secret smokers hid their habit from their parents, even into adulthood. What's even more surprising is that fully a third kept their smoking habits from their doctor.

And another third said they lied to their family members, some of whom believed they had never smoked or had given it up.

For some reason, the BBC reports, Londoners are more likely to keep their habit secret, followed by those who live in Yorkshire.  No reason was given for this. – (Health Day News)

Smoking Facts – Part 7

Strange Facts about Smoking

·         A smoker may chain-smoke during the day, but can sleep the whole night through without waking up for a smoke.  There are a very few smokers who wake up every hour or half hour during the night for a smoke.

·         Some woman stop-smoking while they are pregnant, and then carry on smoking again after giving birth.  (This is a good example of mental nicotine addiction)

·         Some people can spend hours in their car without smoking, and then smoke when they get to their destination?

·         Nobody was a born smoker, but learned to smoke at some time during their life.

·         Smoking is not actually pleasurable, smokers wrongly believe it is.  Look at the response of a person who has a cigarette for the first time.  We tell ourselves that it is pleasure, because we are satisfying the Nicotine addiction.  Addiction is not easy to understand and it makes us do and believe things that just do make sense.

·         Most smokers wrongly believe that the main problem with smoking is physical nicotine addiction, and so address that aspect, by using patches, chewing gums, sprays etc.  Some smokers even devote large amounts of time and effort in building and maintaining their Will-Power, with regards to quitting-smoking (Unfortunately wasted effort, most commonly).

·         Most stop-smoking programs wrongly focus on the physical nicotine addiction side of smoking, and this is why the resultant success rate is so low.

·         “Smokers to Non-Smokers” focuses on the cause of smoking and not on treating the symptoms, like nicotine addiction.  The change needs to be made in the mind.  You need to change the program in your sub-conscious mind, so that your super-conscious mind can pick up the new program and achieve the goal of becoming a Non-Smoker.

·         The simple truth is that, if you reprogram your Sub-Conscious mind with regards to smoking, then you are immediately a non-smoker.  Your Sub-Conscious / super conscious mind combination, the "Goal Achiever", will insure that you are a non-smoker, without minimal conscious effort from your side.  Also by stopping this way, there are minimal side-effects or withdrawal symptoms, and you don't need patches, gums or any other device or gimmick to help you.  Remember you can’t replace cigarettes or tobacco products with anything else.  Certainly Nicotine delivering products just simply keep you addicted to Nicotine.

·         The “smokers to Non-Smokers” program consists of six sessions.  Each session is an hour long.  The formats available are one on one session’s, and group sessions.  Both formats are equally effective.  The sessions are scheduled one week apart.

Smoking Facts – Part 6

Medical effects of being a Non-Smoker

Within 8 hours of quitting, blood oxygen and carbon monoxide levels normalize.

Within 24 hours the risk of a heart attack or stroke starts to decrease.

Within 48 hours nerve endings and the sense of taste and smell start to recover.

Within 72 hours lung capacity improves and coughing decreases.  Keep in mind that for the first day or so you may in fact cough more than usual.  This is normal, think of it as a healing crisis.  It is the body’s way to start moving all that garbage out of your lungs.  However if the coughing does not subside to more normal levels after a few days, then you should consult with a medical doctor, because there could be other issues starting to manifest.

When I stopped smoking in 1999, I had permanent bronchitis or chronic bronchitis to be technically more correct.  Thankfully I overcame this medical condition after around three years, mainly due to Homeopathic medicines and the “Driver Frequency Resonator”.

Within days blood clotting improves.  By this I mean that your blood clotting mechanism tends to normalize, which reduces your risk of heart disease, thrombosis and strokes.

After 3 weeks exercising becomes easier.  There is a ceiling that smokers have in terms of the volume of exercise that they can do, as well as the amount of time that they can spend exercising.  After three weeks you move through this ceiling.  You have more energy.  Enough energy to start exercising, or to start doing a little bit more than you previously could.  Three months later there is a secondary ceiling for the three month old non-smoker.

Within 1-3 months blood circulation as well as sperm count in men improves.  Maybe this will be all you need to finally get that baby that you have been trying for.

After 2 months you feel more energetic.

Within 5 years the risk of developing lung cancer is halved.

Within 5-15 years the risk of heart disease is the same as a non-smoker.

It’s never too late to benefit from becoming a Non-Smoker
Some harmful effects are reversible.  If there are minimal structural changes that have taken place within the lungs, then you will be pleased to know that they lungs have wonderful regenerative qualities.

If you already have Emphysema, then the structural damage that is causing the condition, can’t be reversed.  However becoming a non-smoker will prevent the condition from worsening, or at least slow the progress of Emphysema down.  If you are diagnosed with Emphysema, then I would recommend that you immediately switch from cigarettes to Nicotine replacement products.  Become a non-smoker.  Join the “Smokes to Non-Smokers” program, or use a program that can get you to the objective of becoming a Non-Smoker.  It is not common to recover from Emphysema, so you need to make the right choices sooner than later.

If you are diagnosed with Lung Cancer, then it is a different ball-game.  Being a non-smoker will improve your prognosis.  If you have been diagnosed reasonably early on, in the course of Lung Cancer; then there is still a reasonable chance of survival.  My one grandfather died of Lung Cancer, as a direct result of smoking.  My other grandfather died of heart disease as a direct result of smoking.

Permanent or Chronic Bronchitis is something that you may need to get used to living with, if you have developed this condition.  I suffered with this condition before I became a non-smoker, and it took me three years after becoming a non-smoker to shake the bronchitis off.  I personally found that Homeopathic Medicines, and the use of the “Driver Frequency Resonator”; were instrumental in my recovery from Chronic Bronchitis.

Things like Asthma may be difficult to address, because of the nature of the condition.  However living as a non-smoker will certainly tend to have a positive and beneficial effect on whatever condition you may have.

There are many other conditions that are related to smoking, like heart disease, and all sorts of cancers all over the body.  All sorts of diseases that are related to the changed blood pressure levels in your body.  You may eventually find that there is multiple system failure in your body as a direct result of smoking.  Mini-strokes, or full on strokes are not uncommon, as a direct result of smoking.  The sooner you become a Non-Smoker, the better.

Please, if you already have a diagnosed medical condition, you should not waste anymore time.  Turn things around now.  Switch from cigarettes to Nicotine replacement products, or stop Cold-Turkey, while you wait for your first appointment with “Smokers to Non-Smokers”.
