Hi,
My name is Mark Tiger, creator of this blog, and of the "Smokers to Non-Smokers" program. Find out more about the program:
I was totally addicted to tobacco products, mainly cigarettes; and spent 20 years desperately trying to stop smoking without succeeding.
Finally in 1999, I used a method that I had created for myself; and I managed to become a non-smoker. I have never smoked again since.
In 2005, I decided to share the methods that I had used to successfully become a Non-Smoker, with Smokers who wanted to become Non-Smokers.
After helping over three hundred Smokers to become Non-Smokers, my success rate was a little over 99%. From this experience I have improved the program, to assist those who are already non-smokers; to remain non-smokers for the rest of their lives.
Smoking Facts – Part 6
Medical effects of being a Non-Smoker
Within 8 hours of quitting, blood oxygen and carbon monoxide levels normalize.
Within 24 hours the risk of a heart attack or stroke starts to decrease.
Within 48 hours nerve endings and the sense of taste and smell start to recover.
Within 72 hours lung capacity improves and coughing decreases. Keep in mind that for the first day or so you may in fact cough more than usual. This is normal, think of it as a healing crisis. It is the body’s way to start moving all that garbage out of your lungs. However if the coughing does not subside to more normal levels after a few days, then you should consult with a medical doctor, because there could be other issues starting to manifest.
When I stopped smoking in 1999, I had permanent bronchitis or chronic bronchitis to be technically more correct. Thankfully I overcame this medical condition after around three years, mainly due to Homeopathic medicines and the “Driver Frequency Resonator”.
Within days blood clotting improves. By this I mean that your blood clotting mechanism tends to normalize, which reduces your risk of heart disease, thrombosis and strokes.
After 3 weeks exercising becomes easier. There is a ceiling that smokers have in terms of the volume of exercise that they can do, as well as the amount of time that they can spend exercising. After three weeks you move through this ceiling. You have more energy. Enough energy to start exercising, or to start doing a little bit more than you previously could. Three months later there is a secondary ceiling for the three month old non-smoker.
Within 1-3 months blood circulation as well as sperm count in men improves. Maybe this will be all you need to finally get that baby that you have been trying for.
After 2 months you feel more energetic.
Within 5 years the risk of developing lung cancer is halved.
Within 5-15 years the risk of heart disease is the same as a non-smoker.
